Competences
preparation of all development documents of the non-governmental sector in BiH;
creation and preparation of the Strategy and Action Plan for creating a favorable environment for the development of civil society in BiH;
improving the work of the joint bodies of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the non-governmental sector, for the purpose of more efficient agreement and assessment of common goals;
preparing and proposing different types of cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the non-governmental sector in BiH;
evaluating new non-governmental sector development policies;
enabling and encouraging the participation of the non-governmental sector in consultation processes in the drafting of laws and other regulations;
monitoring the significance of the activities of the non-governmental sector and voluntary work;
monitoring the cooperation of the non-governmental sector with lower levels of government in BiH;
monitoring and making annual reviews of the implementation of the agreement on cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and non-governmental organizations in BiH;
monitoring and creating analyzes on compliance with the application of laws and other regulations related to the non-governmental sector, and maintaining high standards of management;
preparation of expert opinions and explanations for the application of laws, other regulations and general acts within the competence of the Sector, on the occasion of inquiries from citizens, legal entities and other subjects, or on official duty.
