Competences
drafting laws and other regulations in the field of justice at the state level,
monitoring the situation and proposing measures to solve problems in the field of justice at the state level,
preparation of analyses, reports, information, research programs and other expert materials in the field of justice at the state level,
providing expert opinions on draft laws and other regulations of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
analysis and making proposals for harmonizing regulations with the law from international conventions,
approval of misdemeanor orders under the Law on Misdemeanors of BiH,
implementation of procedures related to taking the bar exam, in accordance with the provisions of the BiH Bar Exam Law,
cooperation with international criminal courts,
maintaining a central database for criminal offenses for which the CPC of BiH and international agreements provide for centralization.
