The Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina issues extracts from the Register, which it is competent to maintain in accordance with applicable regulations, upon written request, with the obligation to provide proof of payment of the administrative fee.

The Ministry issues extracts from the following books of the Register:

a) Register of associations (Book I),

b) Registar Foundation (Book II), 

c) Register of foreign and international associations (Book V),

d) Register of Foreign and International Foundations (Book VI),

e) Register of Foreign and International Non-profit Organisations (Book VII) and

f) A unified register for the registration of churches and religious communities, their federations and organisational forms in Bosnia      

    and Herzegovina (books I, II, III, IV, and V).

The request is submitted in the form of a submission.

In accordance with Article 59(1) of the Law on Administrative Procedure ("Official Gazette of BiH", no. 29/02, 12/04, 88/07, 93/09, 41/13 and 53/16), submission:

-          must be understandable and contain everything necessary to enable it to be followed,

-          it must in particular contain: the designation of the authority to which it is addressed, the subject matter of the request, the identity of any representative or proxy, if applicable, and the name, surname and place of residence (address) of the applicant, or of their representative or proxy,

-          The bearer is obliged to sign the receipt by hand.

Exceptionally, the submission may be signed on behalf of the applicant by their spouse, one of their parents, a son or daughter, or a lawyer who has drafted the submission under the party's authority. The person who has signed the submission for the applicant must sign their name and provide their address on the submission.

Submissions made in electronic form with an electronic signature shall be regarded as a handwritten signature in accordance with the relevant regulations. If the applicant is illiterate or unable to sign, another literate person shall sign on their behalf, providing both their own name and address.
