Second Conference of Ministers of Justice in BiH



28.05.2009. - The Second Conference of Ministers of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held tomorrow. The Conference will be attended by thirteen Ministers of Justice from the state, entity and cantonal level as well as the representatives of the Judicial Commission of Brcko District and High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Joint work of Ministers of Justice will be focused on the implementation of BiH Justice Sector Reform Strategy, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH, Entity Governments and Judicial Commission of Brcko District of BiH in June last year. Ministers will consider the reports on the work results of the Functional Working Groups and give recommendations for overcoming of noted shortages in the implementation of planned reform measures.

We would like to remind you that the Conferences of Ministers of Justice are established to enable joint and harmonized resolving of the key issues in BiH Justice Sector and coordinated monitoring of planned judicial reforms.

We invite cameramen and photoreporters to record the beginning of the Conference at 10,00h in Neretva Room, Holiday Inn Hotel, Sarajevo.
