First Consultations Related to the Development of Strategy for the Establishment of Supportive Environment for Development of Sustainable Civil Society in BiH



Ministry of Justice of BiH, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme BiH (UNDP BiH), held, on December 7, 2011, in Hotel Hollywood in Ilidza, the first consultations related to the development of Strategy for the Establishment of Supportive Environment for Development of Sustainable Civil Society in BiH.

The consultations were attended by 55 participants (representatives of government institutions and non-governmental organizations in BiH), who have given an important contribution to the development of future Strategy for the Establishment of Supportive Environment for Development of Sustainable Civil Society in BiH through their work in working groups and their comments and suggestions.  

Strategy for the Establishment of Supportive Environment for Development of Sustainable Civil Society in BiH will provide basic guidelines for the improvement of existing and establishment of new legal, institutional and financial system of support to the civil society development, thus creating supportive environment for further development of sustainable civil society in BiH.

The purpose of the public consultations process is to ensure greater level of participation of interest groups and individuals, better informing and greater citizens’ trust in the process of strategic policies development.
