Opening of the process of public consultations on the draft of the new strategic framework of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy in BiH and the Action Plan with an Overview of Indicators for the period 2023-2027



14/04/2023 – In accordance with the Strategic Framework of BiH institutions until 2030 and the conclusion of the 6th session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, held on March 16, 2023, the Ministry of Justice with partner institutions is launching a process of public consultations on the draft of the new strategic framework of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy in BiH and Action plan with an Overview of Indicators for the period 2023-2027. All representatives of the professional and general public, professional associations, civil servants, citizens' associations and interested individuals are invited to take part in the process of public consultations and, together with civil servants responsible for policies in the area of justice, develop a modern reform plan and thereby ensure an adequate framework for development and preservation of the rule of law. We especially draw attention to the complementary areas of the reform, so that representatives of the administration and the general public contribute in order to harmonize and synchronize reforms in the areas of administration, security, fundamental rights, European integration and other relevant areas. The purpose of this process of public consultation is, with a constructive dialogue, to arrive at optimal solutions for the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the strategic framework of the institutions of BiH until 2030 through reforms in the area of the justice system as part of the broader sector of the Rule of Law and good governance.

The goal of the public consultation process is to improve the proposal of the strategic framework of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the activities foreseen in the action plan and indicators of the achievement of the results of the reform for the period 2023-2027.
