Tomorrow Signing of the Protocol on Cooperation between Ministries of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia



Minister of Justice of BiH, Mr. Bariša Čolak will meet tomorrow with Minister of Justice, Mrs. Ana Lovrin and representatives of Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia. With the aim to enhance the cooperation between the two states in the field of judiciary, the Ministers will sign the Protocol on Cooperation between Ministry of Justice of BiH and Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia. 

Signing of the Protocol is the result of joint work of expert teams of two Ministries on  identification of  key issues necessary for the realization of more effective cooperation in the field of the international legal assistance.

The Protocol improves the process of exchange of information and experience in legal matters and the work of judicial bodies of the two states and enhances the cooperation in the implementation of the legal reforms and harmonization of domestic legislations with  European and international standards.     

The Protocol also foresees strengthening of cooperation in the fight against organized crime, human trafficking, drugs, money laundering, corruption and terrorism.

The ceremony of signing the memorandum will be held at 10.45 a.m. in the Building of Institutions of BiH, Trg BiH, Sarajevo.
