Ministry of Justice Of BiH is Acting in Accordance with the Legal Competences



In relation to the increasing speculations regarding the “Divjak Case”, and in order to present proper information to the general public, Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina would like to emphasize that it completely acts in accordance with its competences, international agreements and legal procedures in the process of providing international legal assistance. Complete procedure in the case Jovan Divjak is conducted upon the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through whose request the interest of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is protected. Complete procedure related to the submission of the request and delivery of the requested documentation is conducted in accordance with the Law and international agreements, and therefore any other action by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be illegal.
