Invitation to Thematic Conference on "Justice Sector Support to economic growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina"



Thematic conference on "Justice Sector Support to economic growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina" will be held on November 30, 2012 at the Hotel "Sarajevo" in Sarajevo from 11:00 a.m. till 04:00 p.m.

The conference will be held in joint organization of the Ministry of Justice BiH and the USAID Justice Sector Development Project II (USAID JSDP II).

The aim of this conference is the discussion about the role of the justice sector institutions in support to the economic growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Opinion of the Venice Commission number 648/2011 of June 18, 2012, which highlights the relation and the importance of the rule of law and legal certainty in the economic growth of the country and it is stated that "the principle of legal security plays a key role in strengthening trust in the judicial system and the rule of law, and this is therefore essential for the business and economic development of the country.
