Commission For Bar Examination Appointed

29.01.2009 – Minister of Justice of BiH has issued a decision on the appointment of new Commission for Bar Examination at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Commission is consisted of 15 members, i.e. examiners for the following subjects: criminal law, civil law, family law, commercial law, administrative and labor law, constitutional system and organization of judiciary. The Commission has a two-year mandate.
Taking the bar examination before the Commission, appointed by the Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is regulated by the Law on Bar Examination (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 33/04) and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Bar Examination (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 56/08).
Bar examination is a specialized exam taken by graduate lawyers, in order to meet the conditions required for the jobs that are conditioned by the bar examination.
Bar examination is taken after fulfilling conditions for taking the bar examination, which are prescribed by the law, and after an interested candidate submits an application for taking the exam.
The application is submitted to the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
